Recent Projects

  • An Excel order entry for form a furniture importer. This contains a complete price list, and customer list and generates data that could be imported into the customer's accounting system. Salesmen complete the form in the field and email to the home office for processing.

  • Selection of new Dell server for a furniture manufacturer who had legacy software running on an older version of SCO Open Server. The customer had and need for a newer, faster server; however, the old operating system did not support newer hardware. Project included supplying a test server so that a trial version of the latest version of Openserver could be loaded with the old software and data. Our tests confirmed that the legacy software would work under the new version of OpenServer. A new server and operating system were ordered with our help. Computer Assistance handled loading and setting up the new system as well as transfer of the data.

  • A Sales Order form using Microsoft Word for the salesmen of a furniture retailer. The form was created such that only certain fields could be altered.

  • Excel training class for a public accounting firm.

  • Developed Access databases for various social clubs that tracked members and allowed for printing labels, membership booklet and meeting notices by email.

  • Converted data for a medical office client to Excel so that data could be imported into a new software product.

  • Helped a manufacturing firm implement an Excel spreadsheet representing customer orders such that it could be imported into Quickbooks.

  • Converted data from a legacy system previously in use by a medical office into Word documents so that the old system could be decommissioned.
